St Neots Parish Church

Our monthly Taizé Service follows the style of the Taizé Community in France.

It is a very different experience from a ‘normal’ church service:

• The service has no leader; there is no sermon
• The central area is cleared for people to sit on the floor if they wish, or on pews at the sides
• The church is lit by candles
• Chants and the reading are sometimes in different languages to remind us of the universality of the Gospel
• The service includes periods for silent prayer and meditation

Our Taizé services are normally held at 6.30pm on the second Sunday of each month.
